Industrial Gigabit PoE+ with separate DC power
24×Gigabit PoE+2×Gigabit SFP52Gbps switching−40 to 75°C / IP 30
The TRENDnet TI-RP262 V 1 combines 24 Gigabit PoE+ copper ports with two Gigabit SFP slots in a hardened metal switch. Designed for industrial rack installations, it supports redundant 48–57V DC inputs and operation from −40 to 75°C. Its 19-inch rackmount kit is included, while the DC power supply is purchased separately.
Best For: Industrial camera, access-point and other compatible PoE/PoE+ networks needing many Gigabit copper ports and optional Gigabit fiber uplinks.
Before you order: Order a suitable 48–57V DC supply separately. TRENDnet lists TI-S48048 and TI-RSP100048 as compatible options; available PoE depends on the selected supply and installation. The detailed specification states up to 685W PoE budget at 56V DC, with up to 30W per port. Check total device demand, power-supply capacity and cabling;24×30W cannot all be allocated within 685W. SFP modules and fiber are separate.
What's in the Box
- TI-RP262 switch, rackmount kit and Quick Installation Guide.
- DC power supply, grounding wire, network cables, SFP modules and fiber are not listed as supplied.
What It Means in Practice
- Connect compatible IEEE 802.3af/at devices to the 24 copper PoE+ ports; each also carries 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet.
- Use compatible Gigabit SFP modules and matching fiber for the two uplinks; confirm wavelength, distance and temperature rating.
- Budget PoE across all devices and choose the DC supply accordingly. The headline maximum is not a promise with every supply.
- Use qualified installation for the DC terminal, polarity, protective grounding and appropriate wire/current ratings. Power off before wiring.
- Fit the included brackets for a 19-inch rack and allow ventilation and cable clearance.
What Will Not Work
- SFP slots are Gigabit, not 10Gbps SFP+. No 2.5Gbps copper ports are specified.
- The model is TI-RP262, not the separate TI-RP262i managed model; managed VLAN, CLI or SNMP features are not promised.
- IP 30 is a metal-enclosure protection rating, not waterproofing or an outdoor rain rating.
- 30W is the per-port source maximum; actual power available at a connected device also depends on the link and PoE standard.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is a power supply included?
No. Choose a compatible 48–57V DC power supply separately and size it for the intended PoE load.
Are the SFP ports 10Gbps?
No. The two SFP slots are Gigabit. Compatible modules are purchased separately.
Can all 24 ports supply 30W at once?
24×30W is 720W, above the stated 685W maximum. Plan the total load and suitable DC supply before installation.
Is this the managed TI-RP262i?
No. This listing is TI-RP262 V 1. Features of the separate i model are not included by inference.
Can it be exposed to rain?
No waterproof rating is specified. IP 30 does not protect the complete installation against water.
Singular Expert Insight
For this switch, the power design matters as much as port count. Choose the separate DC supply against the actual PoE load and required redundancy, then check compatible Gigabit SFP optics and environmental ratings. Industrial temperature capability does not remove the need for a protected, ventilated installation.
Buyer’s Guide
✓ Buy it if You need 24 industrial Gigabit PoE+ connections and two Gigabit SFP uplinks with an appropriately designed external DC supply.
✕ Skip it if You need an included mains supply,10G uplinks,2.5G ports,PoE++90W devices or the managed i-model feature set.
