The TRENDnet TE100-S5 is a compact 5-port Fast Ethernet (10/100 Mbps) switch that adds wired ports to a home, small office or point-of-sale counter with no setup — connect it to your router and plug in up to four devices.
TRENDnet's GREENnet technology lowers power use by up to 40% by adjusting power to cable length and switching off idle ports, and the switch supports IEEE 802.3az. Maximum consumption is only 1.1 W, from a 5 V adapter that comes in the box.
Before you order: This is a 10/100 Mbps switch: Gigabit devices and internet lines faster than 100 Mbps will be limited to 100 Mbps through it.
