The TRENDnet TI-IG290 is a 2-port Industrial 2.5G PoE++ Injector that adds up to 95W of IEEE 802.3bt power per port to two 2.5GBASE-T links from a non-PoE switch, in a hardened IP30 metal case for DIN-rail or wall mounting. It is meant for control cabinets, factories and outdoor enclosures where high-power PTZ cameras, Wi-Fi 6/6E access points or small PoE switches need power and 2.5G data over one cable.
Each of the two channels has a data-in port and a PoE++ data-plus-power out port, so the injector simply sits between your switch and the powered device. It runs from 52-56V DC through a removable terminal block with redundant inputs — the power supply is not included and must be chosen separately.
Before you order: The TI-IG290 needs a 52-56V DC supply (TRENDnet names TI-S24052 or TI-S24048 for it). A fixed 48V DIN-rail PSU is below the 52V minimum and will not deliver PoE++.
