TRENDnet TI-PG62 6-Port Hardened Industrial Gigabit PoE+ DIN-Rail Switch
4x Gigabit PoE+120 W budget2x SFP-40 to 75 °C
The TRENDnet TI-PG62 is a compact 6-port hardened industrial switch with four Gigabit PoE+ ports (IEEE 802.3af/at) sharing a 120 W budget, one Gigabit RJ45/SFP combo port and one dedicated SFP slot, in an IP30 metal DIN-rail housing rated for -40 to 75 °C. It is sized for small field cabinets — a pole-top camera box, a gate controller, a machine enclosure — where a few powered devices need a fibre uplink.
It is unmanaged and needs no configuration. Power comes from 48–56 V DC with a primary and a redundant input and a power-failure alarm relay.
Before you order: This page describes the 6-port TI-PG62 (version v1.0R), which matches our supplier's listing; TRENDnet's newer V2 is a 7-port layout. The DIN-rail power supply is not included — use a 48–56 V DC supply such as TRENDnet TI-S15052 or TI-S12048. If the hardware version matters for your installation, ask us before ordering.
What's in the Box
- TRENDnet TI-PG62 switch
- Removable terminal block
- DIN-rail and wall-mount kit
- Quick installation guide
What It Means in Practice
- Four PoE+ cameras or wireless bridges powered from one small cabinet, within 120 W total.
- Port 5 works as copper or fibre; port 6 is a dedicated SFP, so you can run two fibre links (e.g. a ring-free daisy chain).
- DIP switches set SFP speed (100M or 1000M) for older fibre equipment.
- Dual DC inputs and alarm relay for monitored, redundant power.
What Will Not Work
- Unmanaged — no VLANs or ring redundancy.
- No PoE on ports 5–6 and no 802.3bt (60/90 W).
- It will not run from AC or from 24 V DC; it needs 48–56 V DC.
- Power supply and SFP modules are not included.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which power supply should I use?
A 48–56 V DC DIN-rail supply sized for your PoE load plus a margin — e.g. TRENDnet TI-S15052 (150 W) for the full 120 W.
Can I use both SFP ports?
Yes: port 6 is a dedicated SFP and port 5 can be switched to SFP mode via DIP switch.
Is this the 7-port V2?
No — this listing is the 6-port v1.0R layout. Ask us if you specifically need the V2.
