The TRENDnet TK-240DP is a 2-port dual-monitor DisplayPort KVM switch that lets you control two computers, each with two DisplayPort outputs, from one keyboard, mouse and two monitors, at up to 3840 × 2160 at 60Hz.
It also switches speaker and microphone audio and adds a 2-port USB 2.0 hub on the console side for a printer or storage. Switching is via front-panel buttons or keyboard hotkeys, and the unit sits in a compact metal housing on the desk.
Before you order: KVM cables are not included. Each computer needs a TRENDnet TK-CP06 cable kit (DisplayPort, USB and audio) or equivalent cables — two kits for two computers.

What It Means in Practice
- Each computer connects with USB-B, two DisplayPort cables and 3.5 mm speaker/mic cables.
- Console side: USB keyboard and mouse, two DisplayPort monitors, speakers, microphone and two extra USB 2.0 devices.
- Supported resolutions include 3840 × 2160 at 60Hz, 2560 × 1440 at 144Hz and 3440 × 1440 at 60Hz.
- External power adapter included; maximum consumption 0.7 W.
What Will Not Work
- Computers with HDMI-only or USB-C-only outputs without suitable adapters.
- Two monitors per PC if the computer has only one DisplayPort output.
- PS/2 keyboards or mice — console ports are USB.
- Operation without cables — the TK-CP06 kits are sold separately.
