Trust BigFoot XL — Extra-Large Gel Mouse Pad with Wrist Rest, Black
Gel wrist rest255 x 295 mm usableSmooth control350 g
The BigFoot XL is the large version of Trust’s long-running shaped gel pad. It measures 292 x 322 x 19 mm overall with a 255 x 295 mm usable mousing surface — Trust publishes both figures, which is unusual and useful, because the wrist section takes up the difference. The wrist rest is soft gel, positioned to keep the hand in a comfortable position and prevent excessive straining, and the surface texture is described by Trust as optimised for smooth control. The bottom is anti-slip, it weighs 350 g, and Trust states it works with all types of mice. It is black.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Two numbers matter here and Trust gives you both: the pad occupies 292 x 322 mm of desk, but the area the mouse actually moves on is 255 x 295 mm. That is a genuinely large mousing area for a pad with a wrist rest, and enough for most everyday movement — though a dedicated low-sensitivity player still wants a flat mat with no cushion in the way. The gel section stands 19 mm proud, which suits a desk where your forearm is roughly level with the desktop and works against you if your elbows sit well below it. One inconsistency in Trust’s own documents worth knowing: the datasheet lists the topside material as nylon while the product page describes a soft microfibre surface. We print both rather than choose. Trust publishes no washing instructions and no edge treatment for it.
Best For
✓ Desks that want a wrist rest without giving up mousing room
✓ Anyone who prefers gel to firm foam
✓ Users who move the mouse over a wide area at the desk
✓ All mouse types, laser and optical
✓ Replacing a small shaped pad that ran out of room
✓ All-day office mouse work
Key Features
Both sizes published
Trust gives the overall footprint and the usable mousing area separately — 255 x 295 mm of it is actually surface, which most shaped pads never tell you.
Soft gel, not foam
The wrist section is gel filled, so it takes the shape of the wrist and springs back rather than compressing permanently.
Optimised for control
Trust’s own description of the surface texture is smooth control, which is what you want for accurate placement rather than fast flicks.
It does not skid
An anti-slip bottom keeps a 350 g pad still while the mouse moves across nearly 300 mm of it.

Singular Expert Insight
This is the shaped gel pad for people who kept running off the edge of a small one — nearly 300 mm of usable surface with the wrist support still built in. Trust is also one of the few makers that publishes the usable area rather than only the outside size. See our mouse pads and wrist rests and our wireless mice.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a gel wrist rest built into a pad that still gives you a 255 x 295 mm mousing area.
Skip it if
You need a completely flat surface for low-sensitivity gaming, you prefer firm foam, or your desk sits high relative to your elbows.
Also consider
The standard Trust BigFoot if desk space is tight, or a LogiLink XL mat if you want a flat surface with no cushion.
