TSC MB241T — 4-Inch Industrial Label Printer, 203 dpi
203 dpi, up to 305 mm/sThermal transfer + direct thermal2.3" colour touch LCDZPL / EPL / DPL emulation
The TSC MB241T (MB241T-A001-0202) is a 4-inch industrial thermal transfer label printer for warehouses, logistics, manufacturing and retail distribution that need high-volume labelling at a mid-range price.
It prints at 203 dpi up to 107 mm wide and 305 mm per second, takes 203 mm media rolls and 450 m ribbons, and is operated from a 2.3-inch colour touch LCD. USB, USB host, RS-232 and Ethernet are built in, and TSPL-EZD with automatic EPL, ZPL, ZPL II and DPL emulation lets it replace Zebra or Datamax printers without new label formats.
Before you order: Labels and ribbon are not included — order them with the printer.
What's in the Box
- TSC MB241T printer (203 dpi, thermal transfer, tear-off)
- Power cord
- USB cable
- Quick start guide
What It Means in Practice
- Volume: 203 mm rolls on 25–76 mm cores and 450 m ribbons keep media changes rare on long runs.
- Speed: up to 305 mm/s (12 ips) at 203 dpi, with labels from 5 mm up to 25 m long.
- Drop-in replacement: TSPL-EZD with automatic switching between EPL, ZPL, ZPL II and DPL runs label formats written for Zebra and Datamax printers.
- Media: 20–120 mm wide and 0.06–0.28 mm thick — continuous, die-cut, black-mark, notched or fan-fold — with ribbons 40–110 mm wide, ink in or out.
- Connectivity: RS-232, USB 2.0, 10/100 Ethernet and a USB host port for a scanner or keyboard are standard; Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are dealer or factory options.
- Options: cutter, peel-off kit, internal rewinder and linerless kits can be added for other workflows.
What Will Not Work
- Cutting or peeling: this unit tears labels off; cutter, peeler and rewinder are separate options.
- Wi-Fi or Bluetooth: not included in this configuration; available as options.
- Very small print: 203 dpi only — for tiny text or small 2D codes choose a 300 dpi model.
- Wide labels: maximum print width is 107 mm.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can it replace our Zebra printer?
Usually yes: TSPL-EZD auto-switches to ZPL/ZPL II, so existing Zebra label formats print without changes. Send us a sample file and we will test it.
Can I add a cutter later?
Yes, TSC offers a cutter, peel-off kit and internal rewinder for the MB241 series; ask us to confirm the right kit.
Which ribbon should I use?
Wax for paper labels, wax/resin for coated paper and synthetics, resin for harsh environments. Choose a ribbon slightly wider than the label.
