Tucano Gala Folio Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 8.7" (2023)
Galaxy Tab A9 8.7"Stand coverSoft TPU shellRecycled PU
The Tucano TAB-GSA923-BK Gala is a slim folio case made specifically for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 8.7-inch (2023), for home, school and business users who want everyday screen and back protection with a built-in stand.
The tablet sits in a soft, protective TPU back shell with an opening for the camera. The front cover, finished in a nylon-look PU made from recycled plastic, protects the screen in a bag and folds into a stand for reading and writing. The interior is lined with a soft, anti-scratch material. Tucano states that three 500 ml plastic bottles are recycled to make each case.
Before you order: Made only for the Galaxy Tab A9 8.7-inch (2023). It does not fit the larger 11-inch Galaxy Tab A9+ — check the model name in Settings > About tablet before you order.
What's in the Box
- 1x Tucano Gala folio case for Galaxy Tab A9 8.7", black
What It Means in Practice
- The TPU shell holds the tablet securely and absorbs small knocks to the back and edges.
- The front cover protects the screen from scratches in a bag and folds into a stand for video, reading or note-taking.
- The camera opening means photos and scans can be taken without removing the case.
- The case adds little bulk, so the 8.7-inch tablet stays easy to hold in one hand.
What Will Not Work
- Galaxy Tab A9+ 11-inch, Galaxy Tab A8 or any other tablet.
- It is not a rugged case and has no rated drop protection.
- There is no keyboard and no strap or handle.
- The Galaxy Tab A9 does not support Samsung S Pen input, so the pen compartment is for storing a stylus only.

If the tablet will be used by children or on site, consider a rugged case instead. More options in our tablet accessories range.
