The Tucano Satin IPD1022ST-BBK is an ultra-protective folio case for the iPad 10.9" (10th generation, 2022) and iPad 11" (A16, 2025), combining a satin-finish front cover that folds into a stand with a transparent, shock-absorbing polycarbonate back — built for people who carry their iPad every day and want real drop protection without hiding the design.
The back shell is double-injected polycarbonate with a TPU cushioning edge around the perimeter, which makes the iPad easier to fit and absorbs impact at the corners. Tucano states the case is MIL-STD approved for impact and drop resistance, and the case is partly made from recycled plastic. Inside the cover there is a dedicated compartment for Tucano Pencil or Apple Pencil, and an external slot lets a magnetically charged stylus stay on the side of the iPad.

What It Means in Practice
- The clear back keeps the Apple design and colour of your iPad visible while the shell takes the knocks.
- The TPU edge means you can fit and remove the iPad without forcing a rigid frame — useful if you swap the iPad between cases.
- The front cover protects the screen in a bag and folds back to prop the iPad up for watching or typing on screen.
- Keeping the pencil inside the case means it does not fall off the side of the iPad when you pull it out of a bag.
What Will Not Work
- It is not for the iPad Air 10.9"/11" or the iPad Pro 11" — those have different button and camera positions.
- It does not fit older iPads with a Home button (iPad 10.2" 7th–9th gen).
- It does not include or replace a keyboard — for typing on a physical keyboard you need a separate Bluetooth keyboard.
- Tucano does not publish an IP rating: the case is not waterproof or dustproof.
