Tucano Satin — ultra-protective folio for iPad Air 13 M3/M2
MIL-STD drop protectionClear back shellPencil compartmentStand cover
The Tucano Satin IPDA13M2ST-BBK is an ultra-protective folio case for the iPad Air 13" M3 (2025) and iPad Air 13" M2 (2024), combining a satin-finish front cover that folds into a stand with a transparent, shock-absorbing polycarbonate back — built for people who carry their iPad every day and want real drop protection without hiding the design.
The back shell is double-injected polycarbonate with a TPU cushioning edge around the perimeter, which makes the iPad easier to fit and absorbs impact at the corners. Tucano states the case is MIL-STD approved for impact and drop resistance, and the case is partly made from recycled plastic. Inside the cover there is a dedicated compartment for Tucano Pencil or Apple Pencil, and an external slot lets a magnetically charged stylus stay on the side of the iPad.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Tucano Satin case (Dark Blue) for iPad Air 13 M3/M2
- iPad, Apple Pencil and any stylus are not included
What It Means in Practice
- The clear back keeps the Apple design and colour of your iPad visible while the shell takes the knocks.
- The TPU edge means you can fit and remove the iPad without forcing a rigid frame — useful if you swap the iPad between cases.
- The front cover protects the screen in a bag and folds back to prop the iPad up for watching or typing on screen.
- Keeping the pencil inside the case means it does not fall off the side of the iPad when you pull it out of a bag.
What Will Not Work
- Tucano lists this case for the iPad Air 13" M2 and M3 — it is not for the iPad Pro 13" M4 or the iPad Pro 12.9".
- Tucano does not list the iPad Air 13" M4 (2026) for this case.
- It does not include or replace a keyboard — for typing on a physical keyboard you need a separate Bluetooth keyboard.
- Tucano does not publish an IP rating: the case is not waterproof or dustproof.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Satin is the case to choose when drop protection matters more than slimness but you still want to see your iPad. In our experience the TPU edge is the part that saves the iPad on a corner drop, and the clear back stays practical for school, office and travel use. Browse our iPad accessories range for screen protectors and styluses to complete the setup.
✓ Buy it if you carry your iPad Air 13 M3/M2 daily and want certified drop protection with a place to keep the pencil.
✕ Skip it if you want the thinnest possible case or a built-in keyboard.
→ Also consider Tucano Magnet IPDA13M2MAG-BK for a slim stand cover, or Tucano Up Plus IPDA13M2UPP-BK for a folio without the clear back.
