The Tucano Satin IPDA11M2ST-G is an ultra-protective folio case for the iPad Air 11" M3 (2025) and iPad Air 11" M2 (2024), combining a satin-finish front cover that folds into a stand with a transparent, shock-absorbing polycarbonate back — built for people who carry their iPad every day and want real drop protection without hiding the design.

The back shell is double-injected polycarbonate with a TPU cushioning edge around the perimeter, which makes the iPad easier to fit and absorbs impact at the corners. Tucano states the case is MIL-STD approved for impact and drop resistance, and the case is partly made from recycled plastic. Inside the cover there is a dedicated compartment for Tucano Pencil or Apple Pencil, and an external slot lets a magnetically charged stylus stay on the side of the iPad.

What It Means in Practice

  • The clear back keeps the Apple design and colour of your iPad visible while the shell takes the knocks.
  • The TPU edge means you can fit and remove the iPad without forcing a rigid frame — useful if you swap the iPad between cases.
  • The front cover protects the screen in a bag and folds back to prop the iPad up for watching or typing on screen.
  • Keeping the pencil inside the case means it does not fall off the side of the iPad when you pull it out of a bag.

What Will Not Work

  • Tucano lists this case only for the iPad Air 11" M2 and M3 — it is not for the iPad Pro 11". If you have an older iPad Air 10.9" (4th/5th gen), send us the model number before ordering.
  • Tucano does not list the iPad Air 11" M4 (2026) for this case.
  • Do not confuse with IPD1022ST-G — that grey Satin is for the iPad 10th gen / iPad A16, not the iPad Air.
  • It does not include or replace a keyboard — for typing on a physical keyboard you need a separate Bluetooth keyboard.
  • Tucano does not publish an IP rating: the case is not waterproof or dustproof.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it work with Apple Pencil charging?
Tucano provides an external slot for charging the stylus on the side of the iPad, so a magnetically charged pencil can stay attached while the case is fitted. If you use an older Lightning or USB-C pencil, it simply goes in the internal compartment.
Will my iPad wake when I open the cover?
Tucano does not state an automatic sleep/wake function for Satin, so do not count on it — use the power button as usual.
Is the back going to turn yellow?
Tucano uses polycarbonate for the clear shell rather than soft silicone; Tucano does not publish an anti-yellowing claim, so treat it like any clear case and keep it out of strong sun when possible.
