Tucano Gala Eco Folio Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 (8.7")
8.7" Galaxy Tab65% recycled materialFolds into a standBlack
The Tucano Gala is an eco-designed folio case for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 (8.7"): a soft TPU shell holds the tablet, and a nylon-look PU front cover made from recycled plastic folds back into a stand for reading, video calls and writing. It suits students, home users and office staff who want everyday scratch and bump protection with a slim profile rather than a rugged case.
Tucano states that the outer material is 65% recycled and that three 500 ml plastic bottles were recycled to make each case. The inside of the cover is lined with a soft anti-scratch material, so the screen is not rubbing against a hard surface when the case is closed in a bag.
Before you order: this version is for the 8.7" Galaxy Tab A11 only. It is not the A11+ (11") case — check the screen size before ordering.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Tucano Gala folio case (black)
- Tablet is not included
What It Means in Practice
- The tablet clicks into the TPU shell — no adhesive, and it can be removed again without tools.
- Fold the front cover behind the tablet to make a stand: a more upright position for video and a lower one for typing on screen or handwriting.
- The rear shell has a camera opening, so you can take photos and scan documents without removing the case.
- The cover lining protects the display in a backpack or tote; it is not designed as drop protection for a site or warehouse environment.
What Will Not Work
- Galaxy Tab A11+ or A9+ (11") — much larger tablets.
- Galaxy Tab A9 8.7" — Tucano lists this version for the A11 only; ask us before using it on an A9.
- No drop rating is published, so it is not a rugged case.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The Gala is a slim, everyday folio rather than a rugged case — choose it for school, home or office use where screen protection and a stand matter more than drop ratings. If you also want more tablet accessories such as screen protectors or styluses, browse our tablet accessories range.
✓ Buy it if you have the compact 8.7" Galaxy Tab A11 and want a light folio with a stand.
✕ Skip it if your tablet is used in a warehouse, vehicle or on site — a rugged case with drop rating and hand strap is the better choice.
→ Also consider Mobilis ELEMENT 068022 for the same tablet if you want a published drop test and auto sleep/wake.
