The white Ubiquiti G3 Starter Kit Pro (UA-G3-SK-Pro) provides access control for one door. It includes one Door Hub, one G3 Reader Pro, one standard G3 Reader and two Pocket Keyfobs. A compatible UniFi Access management host and application, network infrastructure, suitable PoE++ power for the hub, a compatible lock and installation wiring are required separately or must already be available.
Best For: For an installation requiring one controlled door with both a touchscreen G3 Reader Pro and a standard G3 Reader, plus two physical keyfobs. Buy it if the required compatible UniFi Access host, PoE++ supply, network and lock installation can be provided.
Before you order: This is an access-control kit, not a complete installed door or a UniFi controller. A compatible UniFi Access management host/console and Access application, network infrastructure/cabling, suitable PoE++ supply for the Door Hub, compatible electric or magnetic lock, and required lock/door wiring and any needed door-position, exit or emergency accessories are separate or must already be available. No gateway, switch, injector, lock, battery or UPS is included. Match lock voltage/current and cable gauge/length to the installation; do not connect mains or arbitrary loads to signal terminals. The readers are IP55, keyfobs IP54, and the hub is not rated as part of an outdoor IP55 kit. The Pro display operating limit is -10°C, unlike the reader device limit of -30°C. Touch Pass is a dated offer for 10 one-year passes, not perpetual or unlimited access.

What It Means in Practice
- The hub supports one door and up to 6,000 users. Its two exit-request inputs, door-position input and emergency input do not make it a multi-door hub.
- The two readers connect to the hub’s PoE outputs, so each does not require a separate new injector. Although each output is rated up to 30W, total PoE output is limited to 45W across the ports.
- The G3 Reader Pro provides a 4.7-inch portrait touchscreen and camera; its video specification is 2MP at up to 30 FPS, while the separately listed optical sensor is 12MP.
- The standard G3 Reader supports handwave request-to-exit, not face recognition or automatic door opening by itself. Operation still depends on suitable separate lock and door hardware.
What Will Not Work
- A compatible UniFi Access management host/console and Access application are required; the Door Hub is not itself a UniFi controller or Cloud Gateway.
- The Door Hub requires suitable PoE++ power. The kit does not include a gateway, switch, PoE injector, AC wall adapter, battery or UPS.
- A compatible electric or magnetic lock and required lock/door wiring are not included; door-position, exit and emergency accessories may also be needed for the installation.
- The Door Hub’s four PoE outputs are 30W per port but limited to 45W aggregate, not 120W total.
- The standard G3 Reader does not have the Pro reader’s camera, PIN screen, intercom or Face Unlock features.
- Touch Pass offer is 10 free one-year passes, not a perpetual or unlimited service.
