The Ubiquiti UniFi E7 Campus (SKU E7-CAMPUS) is an enterprise indoor/outdoor directional WiFi 7 access point for managed Ethernet networks. It combines three radios across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with a 10 GbE uplink and a redundant GbE port. It is an access point, not a router or gateway; power and network equipment are separate.

Best For: For managed networks that need a directional WiFi 7 access point, a 10 GbE uplink and a redundant wired port. Site layout, antenna aiming, interference, client capabilities and country settings affect actual coverage and performance.
Before you order: This is not a router or gateway. A suitable PoE++ power source and Ethernet cables are separate; the pole itself is also not included. IP67 protection requires the included Waterproof Door Kit to be correctly installed; otherwise the stated rating is IPX6. The 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz rates are PHY ratings, not guaranteed client throughput, and the radios do not provide 6 GHz. Coverage and client figures are conditional planning ratings. Use a compatible UniFi Network management setup; the 60 W 10G PoE++ adapter is a separate paid accessory.

What It Means in Practice

  • The directional internal antennas have different beam patterns by band: 5 GHz is 100° × 55° and 2.4 GHz is 90° × 80°. Plan placement and aiming for the intended coverage area.
  • For the 10 GbE primary uplink, the connected network path must support 10 GbE. The GbE port is for redundant power/data input, not a second high-speed uplink or PoE output.
  • The IP67 rating applies only when the included Waterproof Door Kit is correctly installed; the stated base weather rating is IPX6.
  • Allow for the separate PoE++ source and Ethernet cabling in the installation plan. The included pole hardware fits 25–63.5 mm poles, but the pole itself is not supplied.

  • No 6 GHz radio band.
  • Both RJ45 ports are PoE++ inputs; there is no PoE output or passthrough.
