The Ubiquiti UniFi PowerAmp (UPL-Amp-B, black) is a network streaming amplifier that drives a pair of passive speakers with 130 W per channel at 8 Ω or 260 W at 4 Ω. It plays AirPlay, Spotify Connect and Soundtrack Your Brand over Wi-Fi or Ethernet, takes TV sound through HDMI eARC with Dolby Atmos decoding, and has RCA inputs and a subwoofer output. Up to 32 PowerAmps can be grouped into zones in the UniFi Play app. In practice it brings background music to a shop, restaurant or office, or proper TV sound to a living room, managed like the rest of your UniFi network.

Compatibility — check before buying:
No speakers are included — you need passive speakers rated 4 or 8 Ω and speaker cable. It runs on mains power, not PoE; do not confuse it with the PoE-powered UniFi Audio Port. Control is through the UniFi Play app. Ubiquiti does not publish the box contents. Tell us your room and speakers and we check the match.

No. Connect a pair of passive speakers rated 4 or 8 Ω to the banana-plug terminals, and optionally a powered subwoofer to the RCA output.
