The Ubiquiti UACC-OM-SFP10-1270 (EAN 0810084694695) is a 10 Gbps CWDM SFP+ transceiver on the 1270 nm channel, built to multiply the capacity of a single-mode fiber pair: with a passive CWDM mux/demux, up to eight or more 10G links share the same physical fiber, each on its own colour of light. It reaches up to 20 km over duplex LC UPC single-mode fiber while drawing just 1.2 W — the standard tool for ISPs and campuses that own limited dark fiber. Compatibility note: CWDM modules work in SAME-WAVELENGTH PAIRS: install a 1270 nm module at each end of the link. To combine multiple wavelengths on one fiber pair you need a passive CWDM mux/demux (e.g. Ubiquiti UACC-CWDM-4 / UACC-CWDM-8) at both sites. Fits Ubiquiti SFP+ and SFP28 cages (runs at 10 Gbps). This is NOT a single-fiber BiDi module — it uses a duplex (two-fiber) LC UPC connection.

For a single point-to-point 10G link on plentiful fiber, a standard UACC-OM-SM-10G-S style module is simpler and cheaper. CWDM earns its cost when fiber is the scarce resource: with a UACC-CWDM-8 mux pair, one fiber pair carries eight of these modules' channels. Plan sibling channels (1290, 1310, 1330...) before ordering so the wavelength map stays tidy. Terminate the run into the SFP+ ports of your aggregation switches at each site.
