The Ubiquiti ETH-SP-G2 (EAN 0817882023900) is a second-generation Ethernet surge protector that shields outdoor PoE and non-PoE devices on networks up to 1 Gbps. Installed inline on the Ethernet run and grounded via its screw terminal, it absorbs electrostatic discharge and surges — with a gas-discharge stage rated for 10 kA+ current — before they reach your radio, camera or switch. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility note: Passive inline device with two surge-protected RJ45 ports — compatible with any 10/100/1000 Ethernet link and 802.3af PoE. It must be properly earthed via the ground screw to protect; unearthed installation gives no surge path. Best practice per Ubiquiti: one unit at the CPE/radio, one at the building entry.
