Before you buy: The UDM-PRO has no built-in WiFi — add UniFi access points for wireless. The NVR bay is diskless: fit a 3.5" surveillance HDD for UniFi Protect recording. Power redundancy needs the optional USP-RPS. Its SFP+ WAN/LAN ports take 10G modules or DAC (sold separately). It is the UniFi Network controller itself — no separate host needed.

Does the UDM-PRO have WiFi?
No. It is a wired gateway and controller. Add UniFi access points for wireless coverage and manage them from the built-in UniFi Network controller.
Does it include a hard drive for cameras?
No, the NVR bay ships empty. Add a 3.5" surveillance-rated HDD to record UniFi Protect cameras; the gateway handles up to 8 4K cameras.
Do I need a separate UniFi controller?
No. The UDM-PRO is the UniFi Network controller and also hosts Protect, Access, Talk and Connect, so it manages your whole UniFi system itself.
Can I add power redundancy?
Yes, via the optional USP-RPS DC input, which provides redundant power to keep the gateway running if the main supply fails.
