UniFi Access Magnetic Lock 270kg

270kg Holding ForceFail-Safe DesignUniFi Access Compatible

The Ubiquiti UniFi Access Magnetic Lock (part number UACC-Lock-Magnetic-270kg) is a fail-safe electromagnetic door lock rated for 270kg (600lb) of holding force, built to pair directly with a UniFi Access Hub for controlled entry on single wooden, metal, or glass doors. It suits offices, server rooms, and multi-tenant buildings that need reliable, code-compliant electronic access control. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.

Compatibility note: this lock is a door-side actuator only — it requires a UniFi Access Hub (UA Hub / UA-Hub-Door or similar Access controller) to power and operate it; the hub and reader are sold separately. Choose the L bracket for outward-opening doors under 42mm thick, the Z+L combination for inward-opening doors, or the U bracket for glass doors up to 17mm thick.

Best For

✓ Office and commercial entrances
✓ Server rooms and comms closets
✓ Glass doors (with U bracket)
✓ Multi-tenant buildings
✓ Fire-code compliant fail-safe access
✓ Retrofitting existing UniFi Access sites

Key Features

270kg Holding Force
600lb of magnetic holding force is enough for standard single-door commercial access control.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the UACC-Lock-Magnetic-270kg work as a standalone lock?
No. It is an electromagnetic actuator that must be wired to a UniFi Access Hub (UA Hub or UA-Hub-Door) which supplies power and controls locking/unlocking — the hub and door reader are sold separately.
Is this lock fail-safe or fail-secure?
It is fail-safe: the door unlocks automatically if power is lost, which is required for fire egress compliance in most commercial buildings.
Can it be fitted to a glass door?
Yes, using the included U bracket, provided the glass is 17mm or thinner and the door gap is 5mm or less.
Singular Expert Insight
Pick the 270kg model for standard single doors; if you are securing a heavier steel or double-leaf door, look at a higher-holding-force Ubiquiti magnetic lock instead. Remember this is only the lock body — pair it with a UA Hub and a UniFi Access reader (such as the UA-G3 series) for a complete door.

Buyer's Guide

Buy it if: you run (or plan to run) a UniFi Access system and need a fail-safe 270kg lock for a single commercial door.
Skip it if: you do not already have a UA Hub, or you need to secure a double door or a much heavier steel door.
Also consider: UA-G2 Starter Kit if you need the hub+reader bundled with the lock.
