The Verbatim Store ‘n’ Go V3 is a 32 GB USB 3.2 Gen 1 flash drive with a “Slide and Lock” mechanism instead of a cap — the connector slides out and locks in place. This is a USB Type-A drive with no USB-C connector and no adapter in the pack, so it will not enter a phone, a tablet or a USB-C-only laptop. The V3 is the Verbatim everyday stick worth buying, and the reason is that Verbatim actually prints numbers for it — per capacity, read and write both — which most of its other lines do not. At 32 GB you get the full 80 / 25 rather than the reduced 60 / 12 of the 16 GB, so this is the sensible entry point in the range. The Slide and Lock body is better than a plain slider on a stiff port. Two things to know before it arrives: it is FAT32 out of the box, so reformat if you need to carry files over 4 GB; and the near-identical V3 MAX is the one that does 300 MB/s.
