Wantec 5722 is the camera or client-side unit in a 2wIP E-Series installation. It receives the link from a compatible unit over two wires connected through screw terminals and provides one RJ45 Ethernet/PoE port for the endpoint.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Requires a compatible unit at the other end, such as switch-side 5720. No power adapter is included with 5722. Check line quality and length, V−/V+ polarity and the complete power budget before installation.

Is a 56V/65W power adapter included?
No. The 5720/5722 guide includes the adapter with 5720 only and shows local power at 5722 as optional.
Is one 5722 enough to connect a camera over two wires?
A compatible switch-side unit is also required. Wantec lists 5720 as the corresponding terminal-block transmitter.
Does the port support Gigabit Ethernet?
The specified port is 10/100Base-T Fast Ethernet. Plan the network traffic around that limit.
