Wantec wantecWire 7285 Extreme Slim Cat 6A U/UTP Patch Cable, 1 m Yellow
Cat 6A · 10 GbpsØ 2.8 mm extreme slimHighly flexible1 m yellow
The Wantec wantecWire 7285 is a 1 m extreme slim Cat 6A U/UTP patch cable with a round 2.8 mm jacket, made for high-density switch and patch-panel fields where standard cords get bulky.
Part number 7285 is the yellow 1 m version of wantecWire's extreme slim round UTP range, described by Wantec as highly flexible. The narrow jacket keeps cable bundles small, improves airflow and makes it easier to route cords through cable managers. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Before you buy
This is an unshielded (U/UTP) slim cord. Wantec does not publish AWG, bandwidth, jacket material or a PoE class for this range; slim cords use thinner conductors than standard 6 mm cables, so use them for short patching in racks and on desks rather than long runs or high-power PoE.
Key Features
Extreme slim 2.8 mm
Less than half the diameter of a standard Cat 6A cord, so 48-port switches and panels stay neat and airflow through the rack is not blocked.
Cat 6A for 10 Gbps patching
Rated Cat 6A for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short patch distances, and fully compatible with 1, 2.5 and 5 GbE ports.
Highly flexible
The thin, flexible jacket bends easily around tight corners and through cable rings, making re-patching quicker.

Singular Expert Insight
Wantec's extreme slim cords are a favourite for tidying dense racks: colour-code uplinks with the yellow 7285 and keep patch fields between panels and network switches clean. For PoE-heavy deployments, pair them with full-size Cat 6A copper cords such as Equip 606xxx.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You need short 10 GbE patching in a dense rack and want a thin, flexible yellow cord.
Skip it if
