Wantec 7328 Slim Cat 6A UTP Patch Cable 1.5 m Green

Cat 6A U/UTP2.8 mm slim1.5 mColour: Green

The Wantec 7328 is a 1.5 m wantecWire extreme slim Cat 6A patch cable in green, using an unshielded U/UTP round cable only 2.8 mm thick for high-density switch and patch-panel cabling. Part number 7328 is highly flexible, so it bends tightly around cable managers and keeps crowded port fronts clear. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.

Compatibility note: Slim cords use thin conductors and Wantec publishes no AWG, MHz or PoE class for this cable: count its length at roughly double in a 100 m channel budget and keep it out of tightly bundled high-power 802.3bt PoE runs.

Key Features

2.8 mm extreme slim cable
Roughly half the diameter of a standard Cat 6A lead, so 24- and 48-port switches stay accessible and cable managers do not overflow.

Highly flexible
The thin, flexible jacket bends around tight corners and lets doors and panels close without strain on the RJ45 plugs.

Colour-coded family
The same 1.5 m slim cord comes in orange, white, red, green and grey for clear colour coding of uplinks, VLANs and devices.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Wantec 7328 shielded?
No. Wantec lists it as a round U/UTP cable, meaning the pairs are unshielded. That is normal for slim patch cords and fine in offices and racks; in electrically noisy industrial spaces choose a shielded S/FTP cord instead.
Can the Wantec 7328 be used for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and PoE?
It is designated Cat 6A, the category for 10GBASE-T, and at 1.5 m it is well suited to switch patching. Wantec does not publish AWG or a PoE class, so it is fine for typical PoE phones and access points but high-power 802.3bt loads are better served by a full-diameter cable.
Singular Expert Insight
The 7328 is the cord to pick when a busy switch is running out of space: 2.8 mm cable makes 48-port patching far tidier than standard Cat 6A leads. The same 1.5 m cord is also available as 7230 (white), 7244 (blue), 7258 (orange), 7286 (yellow), 7314 (black). For long desk runs or heavy PoE, a full-size lead from our network cables range remains the better fit.

Buyer's Guide

Buy it if
You patch dense 24/48-port switches and want thin, flexible 1.5 m Cat 6A cords in green.
Skip it if
You need a shielded cable for noisy environments or published AWG/PoE ratings.
Also consider
A standard shielded S/FTP Cat 6A 1.5 m cable for industrial or high-power PoE use.
