The 8000 C Zyklop Speed is the 1/2 inch member of Wera’s Zyklop family, in the matte black chrome Black Edition finish. Its head pivots freely and locks at defined positions — 0°, 15° and 90°, left and right — using a slide switch fitted on both sides, so the same tool works as a straight in-line driver, an angled ratchet or a conventional cranked ratchet without changing tools. A 72-tooth mechanism gives a 5° return angle for tight swings, and the free-running sleeve on the rotationally symmetric Kraftform handle lets you spin a fastener down before applying force. Direction is reversed by a knurled thumbwheel in any head position. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a bare ratchet — no sockets, no extension bar and no bit adapter are included. The in-line screwdriver function at 0° requires a 1/2 inch bit adapter you supply separately. The tool has no torque measurement or limiting and is not a torque wrench. It is not insulated and not VDE-approved, and it is a hand tool only — never fit it to an impact wrench. Socket retention is a passive ball detent; there is no push-button socket ejector.

The rotationally symmetric Kraftform handle carries a free-running sleeve, so the ratchet can be spun like a screwdriver to run a long bolt down, then gripped normally for the tightening torque.

A knurled thumbwheel switches direction in any head position, so you do not have to reposition the tool to reverse. The Black Edition finish is premium matte black chrome over the standard 8000 C mechanism.
