Bit-Check 10 Universal 1 is a compact nine-bit assortment with a holder: Phillips PH 1, PH 2 and PH 3, Pozidriv PZ 1, PZ 2 and PZ 3, and three slotted widths — 0.8 x 5.5, 1 x 5.5 and 1.2 x 6.5 mm. All nine are TZ bits with a torsion zone that absorbs load peaks before they reach the tip, which is where bits break. The tenth piece is a 895/4/1 K universal holder, 1/4 inch x 52 mm, with a quick-release sleeve, a strong permanent magnet and a wobble-free bit seat. Compatibility — check before buying:
Despite the name Universal 1, coverage is Phillips, Pozidriv and slotted only — there are no TORX, no hex and no square bits. The torsion zone is a durability feature, not an impact rating: these must not go in an impact driver, which needs the Impaktor range. The 895/4/1 K is a bit holder, not a screwdriver — it needs a drill, a power screwdriver or a separate handle to be usable. Slotted sizes are quoted as tip thickness x blade width, so 0.8 x 5.5 means a 0.8 mm thick tip in a 5.5 mm wide slot. Nothing is insulated.
