Compatibility — check before buying:
This is not a 1000 V kit. Only the 817 VDE handle, the four VDE blades and the 247 phase tester are insulated; the Joker Switch wrenches, the Hex-Plus L-keys, the chiseldriver and the nutspinners are ordinary uninsulated tools and must never touch live parts. Several resellers label the whole set as VDE approved, which is wrong. Note also that the 247 tester is a single-pole phase tester, a convenience check rather than a substitute for a two-pole voltage tester.
