The Wera Kraftform Kompakt Turbo 1 (part number 05057482001) is a 19-piece screwdriving set built around the 826 T Kraftform Turbo handle, which contains a switchable gear that Wera credits with four times the screwdriving speed, purely mechanical and without a battery. One hand holds the front of the handle, the other turns the rear. It comes with eighteen 89 mm blade bits covering Phillips, Pozidriv, TORX, Hex-Plus and slotted profiles, in a folding pouch. Compatibility — check before buying:
The turbo is a push-button switchable gear, not a sleeve: press to engage or disengage it, and Wera advises turning it off for high-torque work such as wood screws and for precise final tightening. Maximum torque is 14 Nm with the turbo function deactivated. The sleeve on this handle is a separate feature, the Rapidaptor quick-release chuck for changing bits. Note that Wera’s English datasheet mislabels the 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm items as slotted; the German datasheet and Wera’s own bit range confirm they are Hex-Plus hexagon. This set is not insulated and not VDE-tested.

Switchable at the push of a button
The turbo function is switched on or off by a button, so the same handle is a fast driver for long screw runs and an ordinary Kraftform screwdriver for the final tightening. Wera advises deactivating it for high-torque work, where the maximum is 14 Nm.
Rapidaptor quick-release chuck
Bits push straight into the 1/4 inch chuck and are released by pushing the sleeve forward, so profile changes happen without a second tool. Do not confuse this sleeve with the turbo mechanism, which is button-operated.
Eighteen long 89 mm bits
Three Phillips PH 1 to PH 3, three Pozidriv PZ 1 to PZ 3, five TORX TX 10 to TX 30, four Hex-Plus 3 to 6 mm and three slotted 4, 5.5 and 6.5 mm. The 89 mm length reaches into recessed fixings that a 25 mm bit cannot.
