Wera Tool-Check Modular 1 — 21 Pieces, Metric
21 Pieces8011 Zyklop Mini RatchetHex-Plus 3–6 mmModular Coupling Case
Tool-Check Modular 1 is a complete small toolkit in a 130 x 100 x 27 mm case: an 8011 Zyklop Mini 4 bit ratchet, an 815/1 bitholding screwdriver, a 870/1 adaptor converting 1/4 inch hex to 1/4 inch square drive, a 899/4/1 Rapidaptor universal bit holder, thirteen BiTorsion bits covering Phillips, Pozidriv, TORX, Hex-Plus and slotted, and four Zyklop sockets in 7, 8, 10 and 13 mm. Modular refers to the case: it couples to other Tool-Check Modular cases with a 9549 rigid connector or a 9550 flexible hinge, so several units carry as one kit. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Wera’s own datasheet mislabels the four 840/1 bits as slotted in both English and German. They are Hex-Plus internal hex in 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm — the component datasheets confirm it. The set’s only true slotted bit is the single 0.8 x 5.5. The bits are BiTorsion, not impact-rated, so keep them out of an impact driver. The 8011 Zyklop Mini is a low-torque fine-tooth ratchet, not a breaker bar. Nothing is insulated or VDE-approved. TORX stops at TX 25, and there is no PH 3, no hex below 3 mm and no security profiles.

Key Features
8011 Zyklop Mini 4 Bit Ratchet
A 50 mm 1/4 inch bit ratchet that drives the bits directly and, through the 870/1 adaptor, the four supplied sockets. It is what turns this case from a bit assortment into a working toolkit.
Four Tools Plus Thirteen Bits
Bitholding screwdriver, mini ratchet, 1/4 inch square adaptor and a Rapidaptor universal holder, so bits can be driven by hand, by ratchet or from a drill, and sockets turned as well.
Hex-Plus 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm
The 840/1 bits use Wera Hex-Plus, which bears away from the corners of the socket and resists rounding — the sizes that cover most furniture, bicycle and machine hex hardware.
Modular Case Coupling
The case connects to other Tool-Check Modular cases with the 9549 rigid connector or the 9550 flexible hinge. That is the difference from the standalone Tool-Check and Tool-Check PLUS cases.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm bits slotted or hex?
Hex. They are 840/1 Hex-Plus bits for internal hexagon screws. Wera’s own datasheet labels them slotted in both English and German, which is an error the component datasheets contradict. The set has one genuine slotted bit, the 0.8 x 5.5.
How does it differ from the imperial version?
Same structure of 4 tools, 13 bits and 4 sockets. This metric version has Pozidriv PZ 1 and PZ 2, Hex-Plus 3 to 6 mm and 7, 8, 10 and 13 mm sockets. The imperial (05049001001) drops Pozidriv for Square-Plus and uses imperial hex and 3/8 to 9/16 inch sockets.
What does Modular mean?
The case couples to other Tool-Check Modular cases with a 9549 rigid connector or a 9550 flexible hinge, so several fold into one kit. Ordinary Tool-Check cases are standalone.
Is a ratchet included?
Yes, the 8011 Zyklop Mini 4, and the 870/1 adaptor lets it drive the four supplied sockets as well as bits.
Singular Expert Insight
Twenty-one pieces in a case the size of a paperback is the whole argument here — this is the kit that ends up in a bag and therefore the one that is present when something needs tightening. The ratchet and the four sockets are what separate a Tool-Check from a bit case, and the modular coupling means the answer to outgrowing it is a second case rather than a bigger bag. One thing to ignore: Wera’s own parts list calls the hex bits slotted. They are Hex-Plus, and the set has exactly one slotted bit. Browse our

Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a genuinely portable metric toolkit with a ratchet, four sockets and full everyday bit coverage that can be extended with further cases.
Skip it if
Your hardware is imperial, or you need impact-rated bits, insulated tools, a torque function or TORX above TX 25.
