WKK Universal Cable Ties 200 x 4.8 mm · Yellow · 100 pcs
200 x 4.8 mmPA6.6 nylon22.2 kg tensileYellow
The WKK universal cable tie 200 x 4.8 mm in yellow is a nylon PA6.6 locking tie rated at 22.2 kg tensile strength, sold in a bag of 100 for installers, IT rooms, workshops and offices that need neat, secure cable bundles.
WKK rates its universal line from -40 °C to +85 °C, halogen-free and silicone-free, with a UL 94 V-2 flammability rating. At 200 mm long it suits medium bundles such as a desk cable run, a group of patch cords at the back of a switch or the cables behind a TV unit. The yellow colour is useful for colour-coding circuits, VLANs or departments so a technician can see at a glance which bundle is which.
Before you order: Only the black WKK tie is UV-resistant. For outdoor runs or cables near windows in direct sun, choose the black version instead of this colour.
What's in the Box
- 100 x WKK universal cable tie 200 x 4.8 mm, yellow
- Supplied loose in a bag; no tensioning tool included
What It Means in Practice
- Pull the tail through the head until the bundle is firm, then cut the excess tail flush so there is no sharp edge left.
- Maximum bundle diameter is 50 mm (WKK), enough for a typical group of patch cords or power leads.
- Use one colour per circuit, rack or customer to make later troubleshooting faster.
- Best for indoor cable management: desks, racks, cabinets, workshops and vehicles.
What Will Not Work
- These ties are single-use: once locked they cannot be opened without cutting. For bundles you change often, use reusable hook-and-loop straps instead.
- Not rated above +85 °C, so do not use them on exhaust parts, heaters or other hot surfaces.
- Not intended for long-term outdoor or direct-sunlight use, because this colour is not UV-resistant.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I reopen these cable ties?
No. The universal line uses a one-way locking barb; to remove a tie you cut it. Choose hook-and-loop straps for bundles you rearrange often.
Are they suitable outdoors?
Not for long-term exposure. WKK states that only the black version is UV-resistant.
Do I need a special tool?
No, they tighten by hand. A tensioning or cutting tool simply gives a neater, flush finish when you do many ties.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
For a tidy rack or desk, the length matters more than the strength: pick a tie long enough to go round the bundle with some tail to grip. 200 mm x 4.8 mm is a practical all-round size, and a colour code makes moves and changes much quicker. Pair them with our
rack accessories such as cable managers and shelves for a fully organised cabinet.
✓ Buy it if you need permanent, secure bundling indoors and want 100 ties of one size and colour.
✕ Skip it if you rearrange cables often (choose reusable straps) or need ties for hot surfaces above +85 °C.
→ Also consider the black UV-resistant WKK tie for outdoor runs, or a longer size for thicker bundles.
