The Xerox 115R00138 is the genuine 220V fuser unit for the Xerox VersaLink C7000 A3 colour printer, rated by Xerox at 100,000 pages.
The fuser melts and presses toner into the paper. As it wears you will see toner that smudges or rubs off, creased pages or jams around the exit, and the printer reports the fuser life in its supplies status. Replacement is done by the customer through the side cover.
Before you order: 115R00138 is for the single-function VersaLink C7000 printer. The VersaLink C7020, C7025 and C7030 multifunctions use a different fuser, 115R00115. The 120V North American version of this part is 115R00137.

What It Means in Practice
- Xerox rates this fuser at 100,000 pages.
- Let the printer cool for at least 15 minutes before removal — the fuser runs very hot.
- Open the side cover, release the two thumbscrews and slide the unit out; the new one goes in the same way.
- Check the model plate: a VersaLink C7000 printer has no scanner on top, while the C7020/25/30 MFPs do.
What Will Not Work
- It will not fit the VersaLink C7020, C7025 or C7030 MFPs (use 115R00115).
- The 120V 115R00137 is not interchangeable on 220–240V mains.
- It will not fix colour streaks or faint print caused by toner or drum cartridges.
- It is not a transfer belt or second-transfer roller.
