Xerox 008R08165 Waste Toner Container for C240 / C300 Series
Genuine XeroxWaste tonerUp to 15,000 pagesC240 / C300 Series
The Xerox 008R08165 is the genuine waste toner container for the Xerox C240, C245, C255, C300, C303 and C305 colour printers and multifunction printers, rated by Xerox for up to 15,000 pages. Xerox also lists it for the Xerox ZC364 colour MFP.
It collects excess toner during printing and is replaced when the printer reports it full. On these compact colour devices it fills noticeably faster than on large office printers, so colour-heavy users will see it more than once.
What's in the Box
- 1 × genuine Xerox waste toner container (008R08165)
- No toner cartridges included
What It Means in Practice
- Order it when the printer warns that the waste toner container is full or near full — once full, the printer stops printing.
- At up to 15,000 pages it is worth keeping a spare if you print a lot of colour.
- One part fits all six printers in the family plus the ZC364.
What Will Not Work
- Not for the Xerox C310, C315, C320, C325, C410 or C415 — they use different waste containers.
- Not a toner cartridge — it will not clear a toner-empty message.
- Not for VersaLink, AltaLink or mono B-series printers.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
On the C240 / C300 platform the waste container is the consumable most often forgotten — when it fills, the printer stops even with toner left. See our genuine toner range for the matching cartridges.
✓ Buy it if you run a Xerox C240, C245, C255, C300, C303, C305 or ZC364.
✕ Skip it if your printer is a C310/C315 or C320/C325 — they take different parts.
→ Also consider the matching Xerox toners in standard, high and extra high capacity.
Not sure which part your printer takes? Send us the printer model (and serial number if it was bought outside Europe) and we will confirm the right Xerox part before you order.
