The Xerox 006R05097 is the genuine magenta extra high-capacity toner cartridge for the Xerox C300, C303 and C305 colour printers and multifunction printers, rated by Xerox for up to 6,400 pages. It is the largest cartridge Xerox makes for this platform and gives the lowest number of cartridge swaps for busy colour printing.

Each colour on these printers is a separate cartridge, so you replace only the colour that runs out. Xerox sells this colour in up to three capacities; they install the same way, so the choice is about how much you print, but the extra high capacity version is limited to the C300-series models — check your printer model below before ordering.

• Xerox rates this cartridge at up to 6,400 pages. Real page count depends on what you print: full-page colour graphics and photos use toner much faster than text with a coloured logo.
• When the printer reports this colour as low, only this cartridge needs replacing — the other three keep printing.
• Moving between capacities needs no settings change: the cartridge clicks into the same slot.
• The waste toner container (Xerox 008R08165, up to 15,000 pages) fills over time and is replaced separately — worth keeping a spare if you print a lot of colour.

• Not for the Xerox C310, C315, C320, C325, C410, C415 or any VersaLink / AltaLink model — those printers use different cartridges.
• Not for the Xerox C240, C245 or C255 — extra high capacity is a C300 / C303 / C305 cartridge only.
• Not for Xerox mono printers (B-series) or for printers from other brands.
• Printers bought in North America use different Xerox part numbers for this family. If your printer came from the US or Canada, send us its model and serial number first.
