The Xerox 115R00089 is the genuine 220V fuser unit for the Xerox VersaLink C400 colour printer, the VersaLink C405 colour MFP and the WorkCentre 6655/6655i. Xerox classes it as a long-life item that is typically not required at average usage levels.
In other words, most offices never replace it — but busy machines or heavy media eventually reach end of life, and the printer then reports the fuser in its supplies list. Replacement is done by the customer from the rear door, followed by a fuser counter reset on the control panel.
Before you order: This is the 220V part for European mains. The 110V North American part is 115R00088 and must not be fitted on 220–240V power.

What It Means in Practice
- Xerox lists it as a long-life item, not a routine consumable — order it when the printer asks for it or shows fusing faults.
- Switch off, unplug and let the printer cool for about 40 minutes before opening the rear door; the fuser runs very hot.
- After fitting, reset the counter: Control Panel > Home > Device > Supplies > Fuser > Reset.
- Xerox does not publish a page rating for the 220V version; the printer tracks its life internally.
What Will Not Work
- It does not fit the VersaLink C500/C505, C600/C605 or C7000 series.
- The 110V 115R00088 is not interchangeable on European mains.
- It will not fix pale, streaky or missing colours caused by toner or drum cartridges.
- It is not a transfer belt or transfer roller.
