The Yealink W70B is a professional DECT IP base station that turns SIP accounts into cordless phones. One base registers up to 10 DECT handsets or DECT headsets, handles up to 20 simultaneous calls on up to 10 SIP accounts, and reaches up to 50 m indoors and 300 m outdoors in ideal conditions. It connects to the network on one 10/100 port and powers from PoE or its supplied adapter.

In practice, the W70B is the base you add when staff need to move around — warehouses, shops, clinics and offices — and range can be extended with up to 6 Yealink RT30 repeaters. The W70B on its own is the base only; the handsets are chosen and ordered separately.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Base only — no handset in the box. It cannot make calls until you add a compatible handset or DECT headset; for base plus handset, Yealink sells W7xP kits. Compatible handsets per Yealink’s datasheet: W71H, W73H, W74H, W78H, W56H, W57R, W59R, CP930W, CP935W, and T54W with DD10K. The network port is 10/100, not Gigabit. Not sure it suits your setup? Frequently Asked Questions

Does it work without a phone system?
No. Yealink’s W70B is a SIP phone: it needs a SIP account from a VoIP provider or an extension on an office IP PBX, and it connects over the computer network, not to a normal analogue phone line. Tell us which provider or phone system you use and we confirm the setup before you order.
Which handsets can I use?
Yealink lists the W71H, W73H, W74H, W78H, W56H, W57R and W59R handsets, the CP930W and CP935W conference phones, the T54W with DD10K dongle, and DECT headsets WH62/WH63 (plus WHM621, WHD622, WHM631 with charging cable). Tell us how many users and where they work, and we suggest the right handset.
How far does it reach?
Up to 50 m indoors and 300 m outdoors in ideal conditions, per Yealink. Walls and metal shelving reduce this; up to six RT30 repeaters extend coverage.
What warranty do I get?
Singular gives a 1-year direct warranty on the W70B. Yealink does not publish a warranty term for the W70B on its product page or datasheet. Beyond our first year we help you with the manufacturer’s process, so you are not left to deal with it alone.
