The industrial-green Zebra DS3678-SR0F003VZWW is a cordless Standard Range 1D/2D scanner with vibration feedback and a 3100 mAh PowerPrecision+ battery. This FIPS configuration is supplied as a scanner-only package with battery; the cradle, host cable, power supply and power cord are separate. Pair it with a compatible Bluetooth host or use the appropriate cradle connection to send labels, QR and Data Matrix codes to your warehouse or production application.

Before you order:
Budget for a compatible charging arrangement and, where required, cradle/cables before deployment. FIPS configuration does not establish a particular certification number or approval for your installation: confirm the required firmware, certificate and host policy. SR reading distances depend strongly on barcode size; this is not the ER long-range variant.

What It Means in Practice

  • Charge the battery using an appropriate separately selected charging solution, pair the scanner and configure the host input profile.
  • During receiving, scan a carton label while moving around the workstation. The host application records the item; vibration, LEDs and sound confirm a successful decode.
  • For a wired host interface, choose the correct cradle and cable. Optional Network Connect integration requires its own suitable arrangement; Bluetooth is the scanner’s wireless link.

What Will Not Work

  • No supplied cradle or ready-to-use USB kit; no independent inventory application, Wi-Fi radio or built-in Ethernet port.
  • Do not apply ER distances, HP document/OCR features or corded DS3608 current/temperature figures to this SR cordless configuration.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it include the charging cradle?
No. The exact package is scanner-only with its standard 3100 mAh battery. Select the cradle, cables and power arrangement separately.
Can it read every barcode from 1.5 metres?
No. The published 152.4 cm far distance is for a large 40 mil Code 128. Smaller codes and other symbologies have shorter ranges.
Does FIPS mean my installation is automatically approved?
No. Confirm the exact certificate, firmware and deployment requirements for your host/security policy before selecting this configuration.
