The DS8108-HC is a corded healthcare 1D/2D reader with disinfectant-ready housing, green LED aiming and vibration feedback. This exact SKU supplies the scanner without its host cable or stand. Choose the correct cable, connect the reader to the host and configure your clinical application. Scanning collects the code data; patient identification, medication checks and inventory actions remain functions of that application.

Before you order:
HC4000BVZWW is scanner-only; HCBU2104ZVW adds a shielded USB cable. This corded DS8108-HC does not have the battery, Bluetooth or workstation-lamp feature documented for DS8178-HC. Use the approved healthcare cleaning procedure and test your actual small/curved labels.
