Zebra Premier 50 mil White PVC Cards — 250 Pack
50 mil (1.27 mm)CR-80 85.6 x 54 mmWhite PVC250 cards
The Zebra Premier 104523-175 is a pack of 250 blank white PVC cards in the standard CR-80 credit-card size, made 50 mil (1.27 mm) thick for card printers that accept extra-rigid stock. It suits organisations printing durable staff IDs, membership cards or access badges that need to feel noticeably stiffer than a normal 30 mil card.
Thickness is the single decision that matters with blank cards: a card printer only feeds the range its card path is built for. Zebra publishes the 10–50 mil range for the ZXP Series 7, while its ZC-series printers stop at 40 mil, so this pack is a ZXP Series 7 product in practice.
Before you order: 50 mil cards are outside the published range of the Zebra ZC100, ZC300 and ZC350 (10–40 mil) and the ZXP Series 9 (30 mil only). Check your printer model before ordering — or tell us the model and we confirm.
What's in the Box
- 250 blank white PVC cards, CR-80 format (85.6 x 54 mm), 50 mil / 1.27 mm thick
- Cards supplied in Zebra packaging — no ribbon, no cleaning kit
What It Means in Practice
- A 50 mil card is about 1.7x the thickness of a standard 30 mil card — it resists bending in wallets and lanyard reels and feels premium in the hand
- The surface is plain white PVC for edge-to-edge colour or monochrome printing on a compatible direct-to-card printer
- You still need the correct Zebra ribbon for your printer; the cards carry no print by themselves
- No magnetic stripe or chip is stated for this part number — for encoding you need a card variant that carries one
What Will Not Work
- Zebra ZC100, ZC300 and ZC350 — published maximum card thickness is 40 mil
- Zebra ZXP Series 9 retransfer printer — published card thickness is 30 mil only
- Magnetic-stripe or contactless encoding — this is a plain card
- Inkjet or laser printers, and label printers of any kind

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use these in a Zebra ZC300?
No. Zebra publishes a 10–40 mil card range for the ZC300; 50 mil cards exceed it. Choose a 30 mil or 40 mil Premier card instead.
Do I need a ribbon as well?
Yes. Blank cards are printed with the ribbon specified for your card printer, ordered separately.
Why choose 50 mil over 30 mil?
Rigidity. Thicker cards survive bending and repeated swiping better, which is why they are used for long-life staff and membership IDs.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
With blank cards the printer decides everything — thickness first, then encoding options. This 50 mil pack is the right choice only for a ZXP Series 7; for ZC-series printers a 30 mil card is the usual stock. Browse our
labels and card media for other Zebra supplies.
✓ Buy it if you run a Zebra ZXP Series 7 and want extra-rigid plain white ID cards.
✕ Skip it if your printer is a ZC100, ZC300, ZC350 or ZXP Series 9, or you need a magnetic stripe.
→ Also consider the Zebra Premier 40 mil white pack (104523-174) for ZC-series printers.
