Zebra Cutter Option with Catch Tray for ZT420 and ZT421 6-inch Industrial Label Printers, Field-Install Upgrade Kit

The Zebra Cutter Option for the ZT420 and ZT421 is a genuine front-mount guillotine cutter with catch tray that lets 6-inch ZT400 Series industrial printers separate each printed tag or label automatically, for operations that print tag stock, shelf tags or single labels on demand.

Zebra describes it as an external cutter with catch tray for media such as tag stock, to ensure a clean edge between labels. It fits the front of the printer in place of the standard tear-off arrangement and is enabled in the printer menu as the Cutter print mode.

• With the cutter fitted, the printer cuts after every label or after a set number of labels, so operators no longer tear by hand and the tag edge is straight and clean.
• Tag stock and continuous media are the typical use: product tags, carton labels cut to length, or receipts-style output where every piece must be separate.
• The catch tray collects cut pieces at the front, so the printer can run unattended for a batch.
• Installation is a field procedure on the front of the printer. Send us your printer model and serial label and we will confirm the kit and the cutter guard version your printer needs.

• Do not accidentally order this for a ZT410 or ZT411: the 4-inch printers need cutter kit P1058930-189.
• Not for ZT220/ZT230, ZT600 Series, ZT510 or ZE500 print engines: each family has its own cutter option.
• The cutter does not peel labels from the liner. If you need labels presented without backing, you need the peel option instead.
• It does not include spare cutter covers or static brush and cutter guard parts: those are separate Zebra spare parts.
