The Zebra STND-GS00UNC-04 Universal Gooseneck Intellistand is a black, non-weighted gooseneck stand that turns a Zebra handheld scanner into a hands-free presentation scanner. Zebra lists it for the LS2208, LI2208, LS4208, DS2208, DS4208, DS4308, DS4608 and DS8108.
When the scanner sits in the stand's cup, its built-in sensor switches it to hands-free (presentation) mode and it reads barcodes held in front of it; lift it out and it returns to normal trigger mode automatically. The gooseneck bends to aim the scanner where you need it on the counter.
Before you order: Universal version: the cup fits all eight scanner families listed above. Do not confuse it with 20-71043-04R, the standard Gooseneck Intellistand that Zebra lists only for DS2208, DS4308, DS4608 and DS8108.

- Screws or double-sided tape for fixing the base are not included
What It Means in Practice
- Scan items hands-free at a pharmacy, bakery or retail counter, then lift the scanner for bulky items.
- Bend the neck to set the scanning angle and height.
- The base can stand freely or be fixed to the counter with two #10 wood screws or double-sided tape (not supplied).
- Non-weighted base: on busy counters fixing it down keeps it steady.
What Will Not Work
- Zebra models not on the list above (e.g. DS9308, DS3608, LS1203) — they need different stands.
- Scanners of other brands.
- Wall mounting — this is a desk stand.
- Charging cordless scanners — it is a stand, not a cradle.
