The Zebra Z-Band Direct 10006995-1K is a kit of 6 cartridges with 200 red adult wristbands each (1,200 bands in total), 25 x 279 mm (1 x 11 in), made for the cartridge-loading Zebra HC100 and ZD510-HC wristband printers used in hospital admissions, emergency departments and clinics.

Z-Band Direct is Zebra's standard direct thermal patient wristband: a 6 mil polypropylene band that prints patient name, ID and barcode straight onto the band, with no ribbon and no separate label. The red colour lets staff see a patient category at a glance — many hospitals use colours such as red for allergy alerts — while the printed barcode stays the reliable identifier.

• Re-closing a band: the adhesive tab is permanent and tamper-evident, so a removed band must be replaced, not re-applied.
