The Zebra Z-Select 2000D 880154-025 is a premium direct thermal matte paper label measuring 51 x 25 mm, with a general-purpose permanent adhesive on a 76 mm core, made for Zebra industrial printers producing high volumes of small product, price, shelf-edge and sample labels.

Z-Select materials carry a protective top-coat. Compared with an uncoated material such as Z-Perform, Zebra states this gives excellent print quality and definition, faster print speeds, improved printhead life and resistance to moisture, oils and other environmental factors.

The adhesive has excellent low-temperature resistance, which is why Zebra recommends it for chiller and freezer applications as well as retail and warehouse labelling.

• At 51 x 25 mm the label takes a small barcode with a price or code — typical for products, shelf edges and samples.
• Like all direct thermal media it reacts to heat and sunlight over time; Zebra does not recommend it for long-term sunlight or extreme heat.
