Zebra Z-Select 2000T 51 x 32 mm Thermal Transfer Paper Labels — 10 Rolls, 76 mm Core

The Zebra 880118-031 is a box of 10 Z-Select 2000T coated paper label rolls, 51 x 32 mm per label on a 76 mm core, for Zebra industrial thermal transfer printers producing sharp barcodes, product and inventory labels.
Z-Select 2000T is Zebra's premium thermal transfer paper: a matte white top-coated face for crisp, high-resolution print with wax or wax-resin ribbons, and a permanent acrylic adhesive for general-purpose use. Because the image comes from the ribbon rather than heat-sensitive paper, the print resists fading far better than direct thermal labels.
Before you order: Zebra lists current industrial models (ZT, ZE, 220Xi4). For older 105S, 110PAX or Xi printers, send us the model and we confirm the fit.
What's in the Box
- 10 rolls of Zebra Z-Select 2000T labels, 51 x 32 mm, matte white
- 4,240 labels per roll (42,400 labels per box)
- 76 mm core per roll
- Ribbon not included — thermal transfer media needs a separate ribbon
What It Means in Practice
- You need a thermal transfer ribbon. Zebra recommends its 2300 (wax), 2100 (wax), 3200 and 3400 (wax-resin) ribbons for this material; match the ribbon width to the label width or slightly wider.
- The 76 mm core and large roll suit Zebra industrial printers (ZT200, ZT400, ZT600, ZE500 and 220Xi4 families), so you change rolls far less often.
- Minimum application temperature is 0°C and the label works from -20°C to +80°C once applied, so it covers ambient warehouses, chilled storage and normal retail use.
- The adhesive is approved for food contact under EC 1935/2004, EU 10/2011, BfR XIV (dry and moist non-fatty foods) and FDA 175.105; the label is BPA- and latex-free.
What Will Not Work
- Printing without a ribbon: Z-Select 2000T is thermal transfer media and a direct thermal-only ("d") printer cannot print on it.
- Desktop printers (ZD, GK, GC, GX): the 76 mm core and large roll will not fit their media compartments.
- Harsh outdoor exposure, chemicals or solvents: this is a paper label — use a synthetic (polypropylene or polyester) label for durable applications.
- Laser or inkjet office printers: this is roll media for thermal label printers only.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which ribbon should I use?
Zebra recommends its 2300 or 2100 wax ribbons for everyday labels and 3200 or 3400 wax-resin ribbons where you need more smudge and scratch resistance. The ribbon must be at least as wide as the label and on the right core for your printer.
How is this different from direct thermal labels?
Direct thermal labels darken by heat and fade with time, sunlight and heat. Z-Select 2000T takes its image from a ribbon, so print lasts much longer and stays scannable through storage and handling.
Can I store a box for later use?
Yes. Zebra specifies storage for up to one year at 20-25°C and 40-50% relative humidity; following those conditions also keeps the supplies warranty valid.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Z-Select 2000T is the paper label we recommend when barcodes must stay sharp and scannable for months — inventory, product ID, asset and compliance labels. Check two things before ordering: that your printer is a thermal transfer model with the right core size, and that you have a matching ribbon. See our
Zebra and thermal label range for other sizes and materials.
✓ Buy it if you print barcode, product or inventory labels on a Zebra ZT or ZE industrial printer and want print that stays scannable for months.
✕ Skip it if your printer is a desktop model or direct thermal only.
→ Also consider Z-Perform 1000D 51 x 32 mm (3004861-T) for ribbon-free, short-life labels in the same size.
Not sure it fits? Tell us your printer model (and whether it is the direct thermal "d" or thermal transfer "t" version) and we will check core size, width and ribbon before you order.
