Zebra Z-Ultimate 3000T White Polyester Labels — 102 x 51 mm, 12 Rolls x 1,370

102 x 51 mmWhite gloss polyester12 x 1,370 labels25 mm (1 in) core

The Zebra Z-Ultimate 3000T White 880261-050D is a box of 12 rolls of 102 x 51 mm topcoated polyester thermal transfer labels for desktop Zebra printers, made for asset tracking, sterile services, shelf and laboratory labels that must survive water, cleaning and temperature extremes.

Z-Ultimate 3000T is Zebra's premium polyester label stock: a white gloss topcoat that takes sharp resin printing, a permanent acrylic adhesive and a service range from -40 °C to 150 °C. You get 16,440 labels in total, each roll on a 25 mm (1 in) core.

Before you order: this is thermal transfer media. It needs a desktop Zebra printer running a resin ribbon (Zebra recommends 4800, 5095 or 5100), and the ribbon is not included. The 25 mm core roll is sized for desktop printers, not for 76 mm industrial spindles.

What's in the Box

  • 12 rolls of Zebra Z-Ultimate 3000T White labels, 102 x 51 mm each
  • 1,370 labels per roll, 16,440 labels in the box
  • Each roll wound on a 25 mm (1 in) core, labels on a 65 gsm white glassine liner
  • No ribbon, no printer, no software and no spindle adapter

What It Means in Practice

  • A 102 x 51 mm label gives room for a full barcode, a description and several lines of text, the usual format for asset IDs, product identification and rating information.
  • At 200 labels a day the box lasts roughly 82 working days, so it suits ongoing labelling work rather than a one-off job.
  • Printed with a resin ribbon the labels resist water, scratches, blood, salt water, alcohol, ammonia, bleach, IPA, grease and oil; with ribbon 5100 they also withstand gasoline.
  • Rated for -40 °C to 150 °C in service, so the same label works in a deep freezer, outdoors or near warm equipment.
  • The adhesive is permanent: the label is meant to stay for the life of the item and will not peel off cleanly. If you need to relabel later, ask us about a removable material instead.
  • When you load a new roll, run the printer media calibration and set the print mode to thermal transfer, so the printer finds the start of each label and applies the right darkness for a resin ribbon.
  • Polyester does not tear or absorb liquids like paper, so the label keeps its shape and its barcode stays scannable on items that are washed, wiped down or handled every day.

What Will Not Work

  • Direct thermal printers (models ending in "d", e.g. ZD421d or GK420d): this is thermal transfer media and prints nothing without a ribbon.
  • Wax ribbons: Zebra validates this material with resin ribbons 4800, 5095 and 5100 only; a wax ribbon will not deliver the rated durability.
  • Industrial printers with a 76 mm (3 in) spindle: this roll is wound on a 25 mm core, so it does not mount directly. Ask us before trying it on a ZT-series printer.
  • 2-inch desktop printers such as the ZD411t: the 102 mm wide label is wider than their media path.
  • Inkjet and laser office printers: these are continuous rolls for label printers, not A4 sheets.
  • Application below 2 °C: the adhesive needs the label and the surface at 2 °C or warmer during application.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which ribbon should I order with these labels?
Zebra lists resin ribbons 4800, 5095 and 5100. 5095 covers weak to moderate chemicals, 5100 adds gasoline resistance, and 4800 needs application testing for chemical exposure. The ribbon width must be equal to or wider than the 102 mm label, and the ribbon type must match your printer.
Will these work in my ZT410 or ZT230?
Not directly. Those industrial printers use a 76 mm (3 in) core; this roll is on a 25 mm core for desktop printers. Ask us for the industrial roll version.
How long is the shelf life?
Zebra states 1 year when stored at 21 °C and 50% relative humidity. Keep unused rolls in their packaging, away from heat and direct sun.
Can I use these outdoors?
Yes. Zebra rates the material for indoor and outdoor use with an expected life of over a year, provided it is printed with a recommended resin ribbon.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Z-Ultimate 3000T White is the label to choose when a paper or polypropylene label would fade, smear or peel. The cost per label is higher, so it pays off on assets and equipment that must stay identified for years. The ribbon matters as much as the label: browse our thermal transfer ribbons and pick a resin type that is at least 102 mm wide.
✓ Buy it if you run a desktop Zebra thermal transfer printer with a resin ribbon and need 102 x 51 mm labels that survive chemicals, water and temperature extremes.
✕ Skip it if you have a direct thermal printer, a 76 mm-core industrial printer, or only need short-term shipping labels, where a paper label costs far less.
→ Also consider Z-Ultimate 3000T Silver for a metallic rating-plate finish, and the matching Zebra 5095 or 5100 resin ribbon.
Tell us your Zebra printer model and what the label must survive, and we will confirm the roll fits and pick the right ribbon before you order.
