The Zebra ZD621d ZD6A042-D2EF00EZ is a 203 dpi direct thermal desktop printer with a fitted standard liner/tag cutter. It prints heat-sensitive stock without ribbon, with up to 104 mm print width and 203 mm/s maximum speed. USB, USB Host, Ethernet and serial are fitted; three buttons and five status icons provide local control. Existing gallery illustrations include other family configurations.

Before you order:
The standard cutter is intended for label liner, receipt or light tag media: never cut through labels, adhesive or embedded circuitry. Allow at least 25.4 mm between cuts and qualify the stock. This is not the specialised linerless configuration. BLE is for Zebra setup only; full wireless printing and LCD are not included.

What It Means in Practice

  • For example, a supported application sends a thermal tag layout over Ethernet. The printer prints the tag and cuts it at the programmed interval, provided the stock meets the cutter limits. For adhesive labels on backing, the cutting position must pass through liner only.
  • The application provides product or order data. Maximum engine speed is not guaranteed cut-label throughput; format, media and cutting affect the workflow.

What Will Not Work

  • Choose another configuration for linerless labels, ribbon printing or included Wi-Fi.
  • Cuts below 25.4 mm and cutting adhesive can jam or damage the cutter.
