The Zebra ZT231 (ZT23142-D2E000FZ) is a 4-inch mid-range industrial label printer for warehouses, manufacturing, retail distribution and healthcare that need industrial reliability at an entry-level price.
This configuration prints direct thermal at 203 dpi up to 104 mm wide and 305 mm/s, cuts labels with a factory-fitted cutter and catch tray, and is operated from a 4.3-inch colour touch display. USB, USB host, RS-232, Ethernet and Bluetooth Low Energy are built in.
Before you order: This is a direct thermal model: it does not use ribbons. For long-life or sun-exposed labels choose a thermal transfer ZT231.

- Peel-and-present: labels are cut, not peeled. Peel is a different option.
- Wi-Fi: not included; an 802.11ac Wi-Fi card is an option.
- Long-life labels: direct thermal labels fade with heat and sunlight; choose thermal transfer for durable labels.
- Very small print: for tiny text or small 2D codes choose the 300 dpi version.
