The Zebra ZT400 Series Internal Ethernet Print Server is the genuine Zebra internal 10/100 wired network card that gives a ZT410 or ZT420 industrial label printer its Ethernet port, for warehouses, production lines and offices that print labels over the local network. Zebra lists it in the ZT400 Series Parts Catalog as the internal print server with Ethernet port, and its connectivity options page describes the internal IPv4 Ethernet print server as a 10/100 Ethernet card.
You would order it to replace a failed Ethernet card, to return a printer to wired networking after it was fitted with a wireless option, or to keep a spare for a fleet of ZT400 Series printers where downtime is expensive. The card sits inside the printer, so the result looks and works like a factory-networked printer: one RJ45 socket at the rear, a fixed or DHCP IP address and printing from your WMS, ERP or label design software.
Before you order: Only one print server, wired or wireless, can be installed in the printer at a time. Fitting this card means removing any installed wireless print server.
