The Zebra P1058930-075 is the original parallel port option for the ZT400 Series industrial printers (ZT410 and ZT420): it adds an IEEE 1284 bidirectional parallel interface, for sites where a legacy host, ERP terminal or production line still prints over a parallel cable.
Zebra lists it as "Parallel Port ZT400 Series" in the ZT400 Series parts catalog, and the ZT400 user guide documents the interface: it fits in either the top or bottom option slot and needs no printer settings to be changed.
Before you order: For the ZT410 and ZT420. Zebra does not list it for the newer ZT411/ZT421 in the documents we checked — send us your model first. Do not confuse it with the internal print server P1058930-074 (Ethernet).

What It Means in Practice
- Lets a ZT410/ZT420 replace an older parallel-connected printer without changing the host system.
- Use an IEEE 1284 parallel cable: Zebra gives 3 m (10 ft) as the maximum length and recommends 1.83 m (6 ft).
- No configuration is needed on the printer after installation.
- It uses one of the two option slots, so plan around any other option card (e.g. wireless or Ethernet).
What Will Not Work
- Network printing — this is a parallel port; for Ethernet use the internal print server P1058930-074.
- Cable runs longer than 3 m.
- ZT411 / ZT421 — not confirmed by Zebra for this part number.
- Desktop ZD or GK printers.

Parallel is still common on older production and ERP systems. This card lets you keep the host as is while upgrading the printer to a ZT410/ZT420. If you can move to the network instead, the internal Ethernet print server is the more flexible choice. More parts in our POS and label printer accessories.
