The Zyxel PoE12-60W is a single-port PoE++ injector for Multi-Gigabit networks. It takes data from a switch or router and adds IEEE 802.3bt power of up to 60 W, so one cable runs to a Wi-Fi 7 or Wi-Fi 6E access point, a PTZ camera or a POS terminal that needs more than PoE+ can give. It also powers 802.3af and 802.3at devices, carries data at 100 Mbps and 1, 2.5 or 5 Gbps, and needs no configuration. Overload and short-circuit protection shut the power off immediately if a fault occurs, and it can stand on a desk or be fixed to a wall. This item is the EU version (EU0101F).

Compatibility — check before buying:
60 W only goes to 802.3bt devices; 802.3af/at devices simply take what they need. 5 Gbps needs a 5GBASE-T device at both ends. Zyxel’s product name is “5G PoE++ Injector”, while its current injector-series page lists up to 10 Gbps with limited support on Cat 6a up to 30 m — plan on 5 Gbps. This is the EU version; Zyxel does not state the plug type on its page, so ask us about UK sockets. For 30 W and 2.5G, Zyxel offers the PoE12-30W. Not sure?
