The RNS boot shields the RJ45 release lug so it cannot snap off when cords are pulled out of a crowded patch field, and the fully screened S/FTP PiMF build keeps Gigabit links clean next to power cabling. Before you buy
At 0.25 m this is a rack jumper only. It is a Cat 6 / 250 MHz cord — right for Gigabit, and 2.5/5GBASE-T over this short length, but choose Cat 6A for guaranteed 10 GbE. The jacket is PVC, not LSZH. Conductors are copper-clad aluminium (CCA), so use a solid-copper cord for PoE devices.
