equip Cat 6A S/FTP Outdoor Patch Cable — 0.25 m, Black
Cat 6A · 10 GbpsOutdoor LDPE jacketPoE / PoE+0.25 m · Black
The equip 605103 is a 0.25 m Cat 6A S/FTP outdoor patch cable in black with a UV- and oil-resistant LDPE jacket, designed for short 10 Gigabit and PoE links in outdoor enclosures, on masts and in semi-exposed cabinets. Part number 605103 (EAN 4015867239872) is rated for 500 MHz, supports PoE and PoE+, uses PiMF shielded stranded AWG 27/7 conductors and operates from -40 to +65 °C. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Before you buy
Outdoor-rated, but not for burial: the LDPE jacket resists sunlight, oil and splash water (IEC 60811-1-3), yet the cable is not direct-burial and is not halogen-free — do not use it where LSZH is required indoors. The RJ45 plugs themselves are not IP-rated, so terminate inside a sealed enclosure or use a cable gland. At 25 cm it is intended as a jumper inside an outdoor cabinet (e.g. switch to surge protector or patch panel); longer versions exist in the same range.
Key Features
UV & oil-resistant LDPE
The black LDPE outer jacket withstands sunlight, oil and splash water, so the cord will not crack or chalk in outdoor cabinets and pole-mount enclosures the way PVC patch cords do.
Cat 6A 10 Gbps + PoE+
500 MHz Cat 6A performance carries 10GBASE-T, and the cable is specified for PoE and PoE+ — ideal for outdoor access points and IP cameras.
S/FTP PiMF shielding
Foil around each pair plus an overall braid protect the signal from interference near power lines, motors and radio equipment typical of outdoor installations.

Singular Expert Insight
Most people use indoor PVC patch cords inside outdoor cabinets and then wonder why they crack after a Cyprus summer. The equip 605103 fixes that for short jumpers: UV-resistant LDPE, Cat 6A and PoE+ in a 25 cm length that fits neatly between a surge protector, an outdoor switch and outdoor access points. For long outdoor runs pick the 20 m 605109 from the same range; for indoor rack patching a standard LSZH Cat 6A cord is the better (halogen-free) choice.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You need a short, UV-resistant Cat 6A PoE+ jumper inside an outdoor enclosure or on a mast, in black.
Skip it if
You need to bury the cable, need a halogen-free jacket indoors, or need more than 25 cm of reach.
Also consider
equip 605109 (same outdoor cable, 20 m) for longer outdoor runs, or an LSZH Cat 6A S/FTP cord for indoor racks.
